iCongo's Latest Release of Its Retail E-Commerce Platform Includes Powerful Features for In-store Fulfillment of Customer Orders

iCongo, Inc., a North American leader in e-commerce solutions announces the release of its latest version of its ICE3 Retail E-Commerce Platform.

Montreal, QC (PRWeb) March 28, 2007 -- iCongo, Inc., a North American leader in e-commerce solutions announces the release of its latest version of its ICE3 Retail E-Commerce Platform. The industry leading multichannel e-commerce platform is designed for retailers wishing to implement a comprehensive easy-to-manage online consumer storefront(s) including all the systems and tools to market and sell online. The platform meets all of the merchandise, marketing, distribution and fulfillment requirements of retailers worldwide, while simultaneously providing the highest levels of performance and reliability.

The new release allows retailers to fulfill customer orders at the store level as well as at central distribution centers. Within the retail chain, individual store locations can be designated as participating fulfillment stores. The nearest designated store to the customer with available inventory is automatically selected for fulfillment. Should the store not have the inventory on hand (style, color, size), a store-transfer request can be made to the nearest store location with the required inventory. The solution also allows manufacturers and distributors to launch a branded ecommerce store and allows participating retailers to fulfill orders, enhancing and protecting the supply chain.

Other features of the new release include centralized and decentralized management of multiple stores by brands and by country, enhanced customer personalization, enhanced retail reporting, more powerful site search and new merchandising functionalities.

"This latest release is a further execution of iCongo's goal to provide dynamic multi-channel retail solutions. Our ecommerce solutions along with our Retail Survey System and handheld sales-aid System (ISAC) is a powerful mix for retailers allowing for the integration of the web and the brick and mortar store." says Irwin Kramer, President & CEO of iCongo, Inc. "The system is particularly applicable to retailers that may not have central distribution centers in certain locations or countries. Moreover the system now provides a viable solution for manufactures who could not launch a branded ecommerce site due to the impact on their retail base"
