TriFusion CEO Named Austinite of the Year by Austin Under 40

Corey Bell named Austinite of the Year and Category Winner for Business / Entrepreneurship.

Round Rock, Texas (PRWeb) March 28, 2007 -- TriFusion, a managed IT deployment provider, today announced that CEO Corey Bell was named Deep in the Heart of Texas Realty's Austinite of the Year at the Ninth Annual Austin Under 40 Awards. Bell is also the Acton MBA's Business / Entrepreneurship winner.

"I am honored to be awarded, but awards are won by teams, not by individuals," said TriFusion CEO Corey Bell.

Prior to founding TriFusion in 2003, Bell was a supply chain manager at Dell Computer. With a background in finance, operations, sales and marketing and law, Bell specializes in creating effective strategies that maximize channel effectiveness, asset management, personnel performance and productivity. The executive team he has assembled at TriFusion has led the company to an unprecedented period of growth. Corey attends Celebration Church and is glad to have the opportunity to serve there as well as ALN and Habitat for Humanity. He is a proud guardian, father and husband.

Austin Under 40 was created in 1997 when the Young Women's Alliance and the Young Men's Business League came together to honor 25 successful and philanthropic Austinites under the age of 40. Since then, the organization has raised more than $150,000 for Austin Sunshine Camps and the Young Women's Alliance.

Nominees are judged on their professional accomplishments and their commitment to and participation in the Austin community. More specifically, the nominees are judged on criteria including their leadership, contributions, community service, experience and overall achievements. Half of each nominee's score is based on their professional achievements, and the other half is based on their community service activities.

Category winners as well as the Austinite of the Year are chosen by a selection committee comprised of Austin Under 40 alumni and advisory council members; past and current presidents and advisory council members of the Young Men's Business League and Young Women's Alliance; and respected leaders and community activists.

Past winners of the Austin Under 40 Awards include Lance Armstrong, cyclist and seven-time Tour de France winner; Michael Dell, founder, president and CEO of Dell Computer Corp.; and Mike Judge, animator and creator of the TV series King of the Hill and writer and director of Office Space.
