International Author to Reveal Secrets to Increased Sales

A unique coaching and mentoring programme for business owners being launched by international business author, Carol Bentley, promises sales-generating skills. April in the UK is when a select group of business entrepreneurs get first-hand experience of this new system.

Southampton, UK (PRWeb) March 24, 2007 -- April 2007 sees the launch of a unique coaching and mentoring programme for business owners. In 'Write Letters, Win Sales' international business author, Carol Bentley, will be proving her philosophy that anyone can learn the important skill of writing effective sales letters when she reveals the science behind this marketing activity to a select group of business people.

"Writing an impactful letter is one of the hardest things to do if you have no experience or knowledge of what works in a sales letter," Carol Bentley explained. "Yet, when you have the skill it can be the easiest and most profitable way of boosting sales."

Bentley, whose book on copywriting has sold across the globe, is an acknowledged expert on the subject. The 6-month programme starts with a 2-day, intensive, hands-on, seminar on 26-27 April 2007.

After the seminar the delegates have further letters or adverts they've written expertly reviewed by Bentley. 'The problem with most business training programmes is trying to apply the theory learnt to your own business situation' she claimed 'which is why throughout the 2 days each delegate will be writing letters for their own business; they'll understand how it works in their industry or profession. The personal reviews afterwards fine-tune the writer's new skill.'

Bentley has already proven her mentoring system works by coaching the London's Children's Society Charity's Appeals Coordinator, Nichola Peach with a fund-raising letter. Peach reported:

"The appeal went very well, raising over £170,000! Thank you very much for your help with it. I have used many of the techniques that Carol taught me in other fundraising letters I have written too."

Although the event has attracted interest across Europe, Bentley decided to hold it in the UK and chose Southampton specifically.

"There were many locations to choose from but I was particularly keen to get away from the major cities so that delegates are able to relax in a more convivial atmosphere. But at the same time it needed to be accessible to people travelling; whether in the UK or from abroad. Southampton offered the best solution," Bentley said.
