Born of the mind of Founder, Publisher and Editor Janette Brin, POSH Magazine will feature articles on personal growth, social and political issues affecting the Caribbean region and its people globally coupled with profiles of celebrities and rising stars of the community. Born in St. Thomas (USVI) and raised in Tortola (BVI) and the Bronx, NY, Janette comes from a diverse background in retail, government, and marketing where she used her talents to foster opportunities for Caribbean people. In 2005, with the help of friends and family,the idea of POSH Magazine came to life bringing Brin's excitement about the possibilities of creating a venture that incorporated her belief in enlightening and empowering Caribbean people (particularly women) . "POSH Magazine gives Caribbean people opportunity for a positive and desirable level of exposure," says Brin. "Posh aims to create many educational and business opportunities for the people of the Caribbean."

To kick off the official launch, Posh Magazine will host a all-star event in the heart of the Caribbean American community in Brooklyn, NY. Hosted by well-known Caribbean radio personality, Dahved "The Original Rude Boy" Levy, the event that is to introduce POSH Magazine to the world, will take place at Red Bamboo (271 Adelphi Street at DeKalb Avenue in Fort Greene).
