New corporate quality director brings 20 years of semiconductor experience to leading outsourced parts cleaning provider.

Brakefield brings with him 20 years of semiconductor experience, including ISO certification, process tool and original equipment manufacturer expertise.

Prior to his hire at QuantumClean, Brakefield served as the quality manager for Tokyo Electron America where he established the company's quality management system and was directly responsible for quality management of TEL's thermal process systems group and Etch consumables. Before joining Tokyo Electron America, Brakefield also worked with Cryco Quartz (later TOSOH Quartz) where he served as quality manager and director of quality. He began his career as a process engineer with Motorola after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Southwest Texas State University.
