Momentive Performance Materials introduced its new product - Silsoft* E-Pearl emulsion, a new non-ionic, silicone emulsion, at the (Personal Care Ingredient Asia) PCIA 2007 this week. Silsoft E-Pearl emulsion is a multi-functional ingredient that provides outstanding sensory, moist feel, line blurring and skin lightening benefits to a wide array of personal care cosmetics products.
Silsoft* E-Pearl emulsion is a milky white, non-ionic, patent pending product made of Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Dimethicone and Cetearyl Methicone. Silsoft E-Pearl emulsion is easy to use. It can be post-added directly to any skin care finished product to deliver outstanding sensory benefits.

Silsoft E-Pearl emulsion is specially recommended for facial mask applications. A Facial Mask base with 3% Silsoft* E-Pearl showed enhanced softness, absorbency, line blurring, whiteness and slipperiness as well as reduced tackiness.
