High-Tech Courses on the French Riviera

New courses in Science & Technology, Engineering, Business & Communications are now available through CEA on the French Riviera.

Tempe, AZ (PRWeb) March 14, 2007 -- Three new overseas study options now allow US and Canadian college students to take their education to the cutting edge. Arizona-based Cultural Experiences Abroad (CEA) brings high-tech learning to the French Riviera through its launch of study abroad programs focused on Science & Technology, Engineering and Business & Communications.

CEA, which last month announced nine new options including study abroad programs in Rome, Italy, is offering new international opportunities this fall in Sophia Antipolis, France.

According to the Open Doors 2006 Report on International Educational Exchange, France study abroad programs are among the five most popular for US students.

CEA's academic focus makes its programs unique. “Many people associate study abroad with language and liberal arts majors, but according to the Open Doors Report, over the last ten years an increasing number of students from other disciplines are studying abroad, and fewer language majors are actually participating,” says Colleen Miller, Director of Admissions at CEA. “As society becomes increasingly global, the next generation must not only obtain an education within their fields, but also be cross-culturally equipped. Our goal is to help students within these disciplines realize their international potential as well as expose them to the value of international study abroad programs within all disciplines.

Stephanie Warbington, an Engineering major at Arizona State University, says, “As you get further along in your education, you have to take really specific courses for graduation. A lot of programs out there are for general education requirements and don't offer options for students like me. It's nice to know that I can study abroad and not have it delay my graduation date.”

Visit GoWithCEA.com to chat online with one of our Admissions Counselors. Enrollment is now available for summer, fall and year of 2007 programs, as well as spring 2008.
