London, UK (PRWeb) March 14, 2007 -- Connectotel today announced the release of version 3.1 of its LinkWall Suite software and pre-announced the release of version 3.9 of its LinkWall Suite for the forthcoming Novell BorderManager 3.9.
The LinkWall Suite, consisting of LinkWall, AdWall and FileWall, adds valuable functionality to Novell BorderManager by providing blocking of unwanted sites, advertising and defined file types, using public-domain site blocking lists. The products are significantly less expensive than competing third-party solutions, which require costly ongoing annual subscriptions for downloading site-blocking lists.
The new features in version 3.1 are:
* Improved performance
* Improved documentation
* Enhanced LinkWall Toolkit for automated download of blacklists
* Improved layout of the server console display
* Supports NetWare 6.5 SP6
* Supports all versions of BorderManager 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8 and 3.9.
LinkWall Suite version 3.9, which will be available upon the release of Novell BorderManager 3.9, will allow support for up to 128 site blocking categories.
