Bullhorn Launches Major Field Study of Online Social Networks, Job Boards and Blogs

Bullhorn, global leader in on demand front-office staffing and recruiting software, launches survey to determine 2007's best online sourcing tools.

Boston, MA (PRWeb) March 13, 2007 -- Bullhorn, the global leader in On Demand front-office staffing and recruiting software, today announced the launch of "Tools of the Trade 2007," a major field study of online social networks, job boards and blogs. Bullhorn's 2006 field studies, conducted under the name "Cornerstone Studies," were focused on front-office automation needs, adoption and use, where as "Tools of the Trade 2007" is focused on recruiting and staffing professionals' relationships with online tools and communities. Survey respondents will be asked their opinions and use habits regarding such well-known websites as Monster, CareerBuilder.com, Electronic Recruiter Exchange (ERE), Facebook, Jobster and the Society of Human Resource Professionals (SHRM). Recruiting-focused blogs will be a part of the study as well. As has historically been the case with Bullhorn-sponsored studies, all responses will be maintained in strict confidence and privacy.

The Bullhorn-sponsored study will include a survey to find the most used and most effective online social networks, Internet job boards, informational and professional development sites, recruiting-focused blogs and online sourcing tools. The results of the survey will be delineated in a report that will be published by Bullhorn in April.

All survey respondents will receive a complimentary copy of the full report delineating the findings of the "Tools of the Trade 2007" survey. All staffing and recruiting industry professionals are encouraged to take the survey.

To participate in the survey, go to http://www.eqr1.com/sw.pcm?n=T04235&data=1~~src~1.

Dragnet, Bullhorn's entry into web-enabled sourcing, enables recruiters to quickly search and use the most popular job boards, social networks and other sourcing tools to find candidates and match them to open jobs. Dragnet begins with an open job order and then searches job boards and social networks to find candidates. When the search is complete, Dragnet displays candidates by rank, identifies their sources and indicates if they are already in the database. Dragnet automatically parses candidates into the system and tracks their sources, virtually eliminating data entry errors.

Bullhorn is the staffing and recruiting industry's only On Demand, integrated front-office solution.
