The Arizona Department of Commerce (ADOC) is a State agency that markets Arizona internationally for economic development. In the Asia-Pacific markets, ADOC has had contract representation for foreign direct investment and trade promotion for the past 15 years.
The State of Arizona is seeking to establish representation in Asia-Pacific - excluding Japan - to attract Foreign Direct Investment to Arizona in one or more areas of:
-- Aerospace and Defense: manufacturing and R&D;
-- Biotechnology: Bio-pharma Manufacturing; Bio-pharma Therapies (R&D); Medical Diagnostic Devices; Genomics; Nanotechnology;
-- Sustainable industries: biomass energy; solar; hydrology; geospacial devices; and
-- Next generation electronics; semiconductor and electronic manufacturing; optics.
Copies of the Request for Proposal (RFP) C056-07 are now available. To secure a complete copy of the RFP you must e-mail your request to Procurement@azcommerce.com. To ensure accuracy in transmission of information, telephone requests cannot be accepted.
Proposals must be submitted on or before 3:00 pm (MST) on July 19, 2007. Please take note of the official due date and time. It is the responsibility of the potential offeror to request the RFP in sufficient time to prepare a proposal and submit it in accordance with the official due date and time. Late proposals will not be considered.
