IPROMS Organises Innovative Production Machines and Systems Conference 2007

IPROMS 2007 is as online web-cased conference organised by the EU funded FP6 I*PROMS Network of Excellence coordinated by the MEC at Cardiff University. IPROMS 2007 will allow people across the world to register as guest delegates and view paper abstracts and presentations and take part in online discussions free of charge.

(PRWEB) July 4, 2007 -- As a contribution to advancing research in the field of manufacturing, the Network of Excellence for Innovative Production Machines and Systems (I*PROMS), funded under the EU Sixth Framework Programme, is organising IPROMS 2007, an International Virtual Conference on Innovative Production Machines and Systems, from July 2 to July 13.

IPROMS 2007 provides a platform for presenting, discussing and disseminating research results contributed by scientists and industrial practitioners active in the area of innovative technologies for production. During the conference, people across the world will be able to register FREE of charge as guest delegates and view papers and presentations and take part in the online discussions via the conference Web site http://conference.iproms.org

IPROMS 2007 builds upon the outstanding success of the IPROMS 2005 and 2006 virtual conferences. During IPROMS 2005 and 2006 there were over 4000 registered delegates and guests from 71 countries who participated in the conference thereby making it a truly global event. Since the conference, there have been some 279,000 visits to the conference website.
