FatWire Software, a leading provider of content management and delivery solutions for deploying persuasive Web sites and applications, announced that it has been named a leader in The Forrester Wave: Web Content Management for External Sites, Q3 2007 (July 2007). FatWire's strong multi-site management and delivery capabilities, an excellent user interface for managing content, and comprehensive personalization functionality were cited as reasons for the ranking.
In the report, Forrester analyst Kyle McNabb writes, "FatWire is strong in a broad range of areas, including multi-site management and an intuitive tool set for power users. Their focus on personalization and globalization functionality, as well as other broad capabilities, help make them a leader in the Web content management (WCM) market."
FatWire was one of 11 vendors evaluated by Forrester for the Web Content Management for External Sites Wave. Forrester's comprehensive Wave methodology assesses the strengths and weaknesses of each vendor's solution using a combination of hands-on lab evaluations, vendor surveys, product demonstrations, and client interviews. In the process, each vendor product is evaluated against 190 external site content management and delivery criteria.
"Successful Web sites can no longer be "one-size-fits-all," with the same information for all visitors regardless of their specific goals and requirements," said Andrew Gyenes, Chief Executive Officer at FatWire Software. "Forrester continues to do a fantastic job advising companies on the need for personalized, customer-centric sites. We are very pleased to again be recognized as one of the leading solutions for meeting this market demand."
