GameChops.com is a Place for Cartoonists and Web Artists to Connect Online

GameChops.com is designed as a digital display area for the game artists, comic artist or cartoonist. Users can display new comic strips, game art or written/video reviews. GameChops can post the artwork on the homepage while allowing member's to build their own Member's Page to share with other members. Along with a comprehensive forum, GameChops provides a creative community for the undiscovered web artist.

O'Fallon, IL (PRWeb) January 4, 2007 -- GameChops.com has been launched as a new way to help web artist's get on-line. Web comics and game art is a growing industry with major support from the film, television and game development studios. With the onslaught of technology, it's becoming easier and easier for the average Joe to become a well-known web artist, game creator or filmmaker. "For every artist who makes it big, there are thousands who simply give up or find a new direction in life", says GameChops President Kevin Casey. "As is the case, many times it's who-you-know, not what-you-know or how gifted that person is." Creating characters and stories can be as simple or complex as the author desires, but introducing these amazing works of art to the general public can be a difficult process. Those days are long gone.

GameChops is a showcase area for those artists who need an outlet to display their work, or those interested in showing their work to a much larger audience. Using the GameChops art gallery, artists can display any personal artwork saved in a jpeg format. Exclusive members have a personal page to present their favorite works of art along with a blog area for writing reviews, daily journals or notes. Exclusive member's can also save their video work in the Member's Page area. Once uploaded, all artwork in the gallery can be viewed by members and anyone who's simply visiting the site. Uploading art will always be a free service.

A recent advancement in the video game world is the creation of video reviews. These audio/visual presentations give much more to the viewer than just a wordy, written opinion. It's hard to overlook the appeal of an audio/visual aid. All GameChops members have an opportunity to convey their thoughts in a number of different formats; video reviews are one of them. This creative media gives members a great way to share their views about video games while showcasing their editing prowess. All reviews can be seen on the artist's member page while the best ones can be posted on the homepage. Providing options to the artists allows creative expression as well as personal discretion.

GameChops is not just about games, art, or comic books; it's about the freedom to express oneself in a creative and passionate environment with others who share similar interests.
