Free people search from provides access to over 146 million residential listings in US in a user-friendly and advertising-free format. The new Website supports advanced search options and reverse lookups by address and home phone number.

Irvine, CA (PRWeb) January 30, 2007 - Recently released ( offers free online search for people in US. Users can find people by name, home address or telephone number on this new easy-to-use Website.

The free people search is based on published phone directory information and enhanced with data from several other sources. The database contains records on 146 million individuals and 96 million households in the US. The information is updated monthly.

The most popular search form is Find People by Name. It allows searching for people by full, partial name or just initials in a particular location. There is an option to look for similar name matches (e.g. Dan, Danny and Daniel or Brown, Browne, Braun and Hatton-Brown). The searches could be conducted nationwide or be specific to a particular city, state or zip code. A user can expand people search to the surrounding metro area or county for the entered city-state combination or zip code. MyPeopleSearch has the ability to interpret city aliases even in cases when the selected city is not a standard postal city. For example, when user enters NYC or Manhattan the results will show the listings for New York, NY. The Website will also verify if the specified city is valid for the selected state.

Find People by Phone search form (reverse phone number search) is useful for finding contact information of owner of home phone number. Full or partial phone number can be entered in any format. Often area codes change or split. As a result, the old number is now associated with a new area code and cannot be found using standard reverse phone number search. To address this issue, MyPeopleSearch allows to search for people by state and phone number without the area code.

Find People by Address option (reverse address search) is designed for searching for a resident at provided home address. It is also possible to obtain a list of all people living at a particular street. The people search engine understands almost any common street format (e.g., 123 Main, 351 W 42nd St, 900 5th Ave, Main Avenue E, Broad St West, Taft Blvd, Crystal Cove, etc.)

Users of MyPeopleSearch can sort and filter multiple people search results to narrow down broad searches. Search results can be also displayed in a printer-friendly format for easy printing. When no results are found, the Website provides explanation of possible reasons (e.g., invalid city entered, cell phone number used in reverse search, person has an unlisted number) and recommends the next steps. The listing details page shows the complete name and address with the map.
