Annual Executive Challenge Fundraiser To Take Place In Spring

Alberta based consulting firm, Business Improvement Solutions Inc., will host the annual Executive Challenge Fundraiser in the spring.

Sherwood Park, Alberta (PRWEB) January 3, 2007 - Sixteen young executives will compete to provide innovative answers to challenging business dilemmas in Edmonton, Alberta's first annual Executive Challenge. They will do so this spring in a fundraiser hosted by Business Improvement Solutions Inc., an Alberta-based business consulting firm.

The Executive Challenge offers young business people the chance to win cash and prizes totalling $15,000. The new Alberta School of Retailing at the University of Alberta will benefit as well: all profits from the event will be donated to the Alberta School of Retailing.

"This event is part of our mission to support higher education," said Dan MacDonald, a trainer, author, and business consultant with Business Improvement Solutions Inc. "We hope to do many more such events."

By partnering with universities across Canada, Business Improvement Solutions Inc., aims to make the Executive Challenge an annual happening in other cities including Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Halifax, and Montreal. At each event, profits will be split between the participating university and the Alberta School of Retailing at the University of Alberta.

Judges will provide participants with cumulative scores based upon the feasibility and innovativeness of their solutions, the clarity of their responses, their knowledge and understanding of key business issues and their demonstrated confidence.
