Primacy Relocation Continues Global Expansion with Opening of Hong Kong Office

Hong Kong S.A.R

Primacy Relocation, a leading provider of employee relocation and global assignment management services, today announced the opening of its Hong Kong office. Located at Three Pacific Place on Queen's Road East, the new office will serve as Primacy Asia's headquarters. Primacy selected Hong Kong for its central access to the Asia region and its well-established global economic position.

"Hong Kong is home to many of the world's largest financial institutions, and has a history of being one of the leading destinations by foreign companies for Far Eastern expansion," said Kim Froggatt, GMS, Vice President of Primacy Asia. "Many of Primacy's Americas, European, African and Middle Eastern clients are opening offices in the Asia region, making Hong Kong a logical choice for Asian headquarters."

Hong Kong's tradition of offering attractive tax rates to businesses is another reason many companies are establishing a presence here. This, combined with its close proximity and access to Southern China, makes Hong Kong a strategic choice for Primacy's long-term success within Asia.

The new Primacy Asia office will be overseen by Froggatt and initially staffed by two relocation professionals: Yaele Meilland, GMS, Operations Manager, and Elke Grete, Relocation Services Manager. Meilland has recently relocated from Primacy's Geneva, Switzerland office and manages client services, business development and operations in the region. Grete joined the team from a Primacy client company in Zurich, Switzerland, and is responsible for administration and human resources activities and supplier management.

As Vice President of Primacy Asia, Froggatt is primarily responsible for growing the company's business and developing an operations structure in key locations throughout the region.

Primacy Relocation is one of the top third-party employee relocation providers in the world, and is the largest to focus all technology and resources solely on relocation and global assignment (expatriate) management. Primacy administers programs for employers throughout the Americas, EMEA and Asia regions. Core services include home sales, destination services, household goods move management, and overall program administration. In addition to its Memphis headquarters, Primacy has offices in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Omaha, Sacramento and Washington D.C. (Government Services), as well as Amsterdam, Basel, Geneva, Hong Kong, Lausanne, London, Montreal, Munich, Paris, Shanghai and Zurich. Primacy is online, in nine languages, at primacy.com.
