Baltimore Winter Restaurant Week Warms Guests Hearts February 5-9

Baltimore Winter Restaurant Week Warms Customers Hearts February 5-9 Area Winter Restaurant Week promises something special for every taste bud and all wallets Restaurant Week has helped bond the Baltimore Hospitality Community by banding together as one.

(PRWeb) January 21, 2007 -- In appreciation of their loyal dining guests, many downtown Baltimore City restaurants have bonded together to form a winter restaurant week. Labeling it Winter Restaurant Appreciation Week, area diners will be able to enjoy upscale, gourmet three course meals, at some of Baltimore's finest venues, for a fraction of the normal cost. From February 5-9, specially designed three course lunch will cost $20.07 and 3 course dinner menu offerings are served for $30.07. All 21 restaurants involved and their menus are listed on www.CITYPEEK.com (click the top right Baltimore PEEK links).

>From steak houses like: The Prime Rib, The Capital Grille, and Ruth's Chris Steak House to Little Italy's Boccacio's, Da Mimmo and Aldo's to M&S Grill, McCormick & Scmick's, Rusty Scupper, La Tasca and Phillips at in the Harborplace area to Flemming's, Oceanaire Seafood Room and Roy's in Harbor East to some smaller independent venue's: Babalu Grill, The Bicycle Bistro, Blue Sea Grill, Brass Elephant, True, Brasserie Tatin and Tio Pepe Restaurant Week promises something special for every taste bud and all wallets.

Winter Restaurant Week was the idea of James J. Kinney, General Manager of Baltimore's The Capital Grille. "I wanted to thank my loyal guests and friends for a fabulous holiday season by treating them to special meals at AAA special rates. The restaurant and hospitality community is built on partnerships. Our goal is to grow this event and add more restaurants next time, but we are delighted with this year's collective restaurant efforts and CITYPEEK.com's resources we sought." Restaurant week also takes place at a time when tourists are less likely to venture downtown so the specials serve that dual purpose as well. Boosting business in February is always a good thing.

CITYPEEK.com, the nation's fastest growing hospitality site for picking out the best in food, hotels, shops, events and condos, was asked to help the Baltimore City restaurant group. Interested diners can easily read menus and book their tables at their preferred venue directly on www.citypeek.com. "This is a perfect marriage. We were delighted that CITYPEEK.com was asked to play an active role in promoting restaurant week in Baltimore. Baltimore is CITYPEEK's world headquarters and our website reflects the same mission that the committed restaurants have: to provide a sampling of the best in town," expressed Patti Neumann, CITYPEEK.com Founder & Publisher.
