New Web Tool to Unite Sudden Cardiac Arrest Survivors and Those at Risk

The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association (SCAA) launched its new on-line discussion community. The aim of the virtual community is to foster peer-to-peer communication and information sharing.

Washington, DC (PRWeb) January 20, 2007 -- The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association announces the launch of its new online discussion community. The aim of the virtual community is to foster peer-to-peer communication and information sharing via the web. It is designed to be the meeting place for everyone desiring to connect with others interested in or affected by sudden cardiac arrest -- survivors, those at risk, family, friends medical and emergency services professionals, teachers and others. "SCAA intends to become the hub of on-line discussions related to sudden cardiac arrest," stated Richard Brown, board chair. Registration for the online community is free of charge to the public.

"Our new discussion groups add the human dimension to go beyond sudden cardiac arrest facts and figures," said Diane Canova, the Association's executive director.
