Logan Equity Partners launches asset backed fixed income hedge fund.

(LEP) announced that they launched the Logan Asset Backed Fund, L.P., an asset backed fixed income hedge fund.The Logan Asset Backed Fund, L.P. uses a conservative valuation strategy to make asset backed loans and targets returns with extremely low volatility and a minimal correlation to U.S. equity, fixed income and real estate markets.

The fund is domiciled in the United States and charges a 1% management fee and a 20% incentive fee. The minimum investment is $250,000. The fund began trading in April of 2006 with a partner base of investors including various high net worth individuals and significant investment from the General Partners. The goal of the Logan Asset Backed Fund is to generate net annualized returns of 12% with very low volatility.
