Many of the participants in this group felt that it is important to ask guidance of the Lord before making a decision to work from home. Four participants responded "no" to the survey question and 28 were unsure. Comments from these groups emphasized the point that it really depends on the type of business. Christians should never consider any endeavor to work from home through business opportunities if it would compromise their faith. Some of the opportunities that might be available to Believers involve partnering with others through franchises or affiliate programs. Advice from participants, seem to follow Biblical teaching that Christians should be careful about being yoked with Unbelievers.
The Bible teaches that Believers should be "the head and not the tail" and that God wishes for His children to prosper "just as their soul prospers." It is important to have the right attitude towards God when making a decision to work from home. One participant stated, "With money, the message of love would be more effective through the delivery of charity instead of words of encouragement offered to starving people."
