The Digital Holographic Microscopes do everything interferometric measuring instruments do, but it is done faster and better - in real time at up to 50,000 frames per second. "Eventually, this technology should replace interferometric methods since it images 3-D in real time, at better resolution, and needs no mechanical or acoustic isolation" says George McMurtry, president and founder of NanoAndMore.
