Marketworks Customers Continue to Adopt Google Checkout

Marketworks' partnership with Google allows customers to easily incorporate Google Checkout into their Marketworks hosted Web stores and process transactions for free.

Atlanta, GA (PRWeb) January 10, 2007-- Marketworks, a multi-channel ecommerce software solutions provider, today announced well over 300 Marketworks customers are now using Google Checkout for completing ecommerce transactions on their Marketworks hosted web stores.

Google Checkout, the new online checkout option launched by Google last year, is designed to make online shopping faster and easier for both buyers and sellers.

"We constantly want to offer our customers the most comprehensive multi-channel ecommerce solution available, which is why we added another great checkout option for our customers and their buyers," says Ken Powell, chief executive officer, Marketworks. "Marketworks' partnership with Google allows our merchants to offer an easy checkout alternative, while taking advantage of Google Checkout's free transaction processing through 2007."

Thanks to the Company's integration with Google, Marketworks customers can implement Google Checkout in a matter of minutes. In addition, all Google Checkout enabled customers can take advantage of Marketworks' new professionally designed web stores. 12 new web store templates can be customized to accommodate individual branding and color schemes to reflect a company's brand identity. This is another great way for business to have a very professional online look and feel at no additional cost.

The professionally-designed storefront templates are part of Marketworks' overall efforts to help small and mid-sized businesses create a more professional online presence and increase ecommerce sales.

All Marketworks' customers that enable Google Checkout on their ecommerce storefronts can leverage the Google Checkout free transaction-processing service. Every web store transaction made using Google Checkout in 2007 will be waived of all transaction-processing fees.
