Allied Modular Announces Manufacturing Expansion Creating 40-50 New Jobs in Coming Months

Expansion in Goodlettsville brings new jobs to the local economy.

Nashville, TN (PRweb) April 2, 2007 -- Allied Modular announced today the expansion of their plant in Goodlettsville, TN. Allied Modular opened the expansion facility in Goodlettsville in late 2006 and has experienced tremendous growth in several market segments in the Midwest and Eastern Regions.

"In the coming months, we plan on increasing our production and our workforce with up to 40-50 new blue collar jobs benefiting the local economy. We think that Goodlettsville is the perfect location for our expansion. It's centrally located to the largest segment of our customer base which decreases shipping time and cost to our consumers," said Kevin Peithman, President of Allied Modular Building Systems, Inc.

Allied Modular Building Systems is the West Coast's largest manufacturer of panelized modular structures. They manufacture modular offices, clean rooms, guardhouses, smoking shelters, guardrail etc. for military, industrial and commercial clients.

Over the past few years, Allied Modular has provided several projects to top industry names in the area such as the University of Tennessee, Dell, Rubbermaid and others. Expansion of the Goodlettsville plant will generate even more commerce for local businesses and surrounding suppliers.

"We feel that the market penetration of our product and its acceptance within our industry has made great strides. We gained several key customers and market segments earlier this year and needed to ramp up the capacity of our newest location," said Raj Singh, Vice President of Allied Modular.

"Allied Modular's customer base consists of mostly fortune 1,000 type customers that utilize warehouse, manufacturing, office partitions, security enclosures and a host of other applications to suit the demand of many industries," Barry Sim, senior technical manager said. "Our product is uniquely adaptable in countless applications and our customers nationwide are discovering that its uses are endless."
