Sea TV Network Launches Earth Day, Saturday, April 21 with West Coast Roll Out of 'Sea TV Now' Television Show in So. Cal.

Sea TV Network launches April 21 @ 7 p.m. on Channel 18, KSCI, Southern California with first show "Sea TV Now."

Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) April 19, 2007 -- "Sea TV Now", the first television series to premiere from the newly launched Sea TV Network (www.seatv.com) makes its debut on Earth Day, Saturday, April 21 at 7 p.m. on Channel 18 (KSCI) throughout Southern California. The series will feature programming related to the ocean and marine ecosystems and aims to promote conservation of the marine environment worldwide. The series will continue to air on Channel 18 on both Saturday and Sunday ever week featuring news and entertainment from all over the world focusing in on news and entertainment about the wonders of the Oceans.

Hosting the new show "Sea TV Now" will be local television personalities Louis Alexander and Carlene Moore, Santa Monica, California residents. Alexander is vocal in his belief that, "The time is here, the time is now, that the United States lead the world in saving the oceans and the earth, and we, the media, must educate the public to accept this historic challenge."

"Sea TV Now" is all about bringing the largest life force and playground in the world - the Sea of course, to your living room," according to producer Randy Turrow. A renown film industry veteran, Turrow developed his niche in over 50 productions including award winning major motion pictures, cable shows, plays, commercials, music videos, movies-of-the-week, and electronic-press kits (EPKs). As an executive at the Visual effects/CGI Company Shockwave, he collaborated on box-office hits like Titanic, Starship Troopers, and Virus. He recently wrapped production on the motion picture "Man in the Chair' starring Christopher Plummer. Turrow is also active in the Director's Guild of America and has his own firm called FeaturePro.

Segments in the first episode of "Sea TV Now" include:

·   A virtual visit to the Monaco Institute of Oceanography
·   The on-location post-tsunami report from India
·   An inside look at an unusual yacht company featured in the James Bond Film, "Casino Royale" that offers fractional yacht ownership.
