Fort Worth, Texas (PRWEB) April 19, 2007 -- Big antler chandeliers, a rare full body Tiger and an unusual Hyena rug are among thousands of western décor and taxidermy mounts up for auction Friday and Saturday in Fort Worth at the World Class Big Game Trophy and Western Auction. The sale offers distinctive items for game room or ranch décor from private collections of famous big game hunters and two museums.

The taxidermy items representing hundreds of species even include full size mounts such as Grizzly bear, Zebra, Lion, Leopard and Bongo.

"We have rare, hard to find items," said John Brommel, sale organizer. "Collectors and interior decorators purchase them for homes or for commercial establishments such as bars and restaurants. You can create quite an impression on your guests with a gigantic elephant head on your wall."

If an elephant head is a little large for the decorating space, there will be rare exotic rugs such as Tiger, Leopard, Polar Bear and Jaguar; large fish and small game animals such as Pheasant, Armadillos, Bobcat, Beaver and Badger. Other unusual mounts for the walls include a giraffe-necked Gerenuk, Buffalo, Caribou, Baboon, Nyala, Zebra, a variety of Sheep and a Moose. Of the most unusual auction items are an elephant skull, Wolf rugs, a full body Monkey, a Musk Ox and a full body Lynx.

Decorator and collectible items include a collection of bronze sculptures, chaps, spurs, hand carved African pieces, spears and tribal staffs, arrowheads, antlers, horns, metal art, knives and bear and other rugs. Also in the sales are furniture and accessories such as a unique zebra stool with animal feet, horn furniture, tables, artwork, baskets and hides.
