Each month, HealthTalk hosts independently-produced free live shows that empower Multiple Sclerosis patients, their families and caregivers with cutting-edge information and access to the world's leading medical experts. This month's show, "Why is my Head in a Haze?", will explore cognitive symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis like memory loss, trouble concentrating, word-finding difficulty and more.

More than 400,000 people in the U.S. have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, an autoimmune condition that causes the body to inappropriately attack the central nervous system. Most will experience cognitive symptoms at some point.

"Why is my Head in a Haze?" will feature S. Mitchell Freedman, M.D., F.A.A.N., and Jeffrey Wilken, Ph.D. Dr. Freedman is in private practice with Raleigh Neurology Associates in Raleigh, N.C., and is an associate clinical professor of neurology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Wilken is the director of neuropsychology at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and adjunct clinical professor at the University of Maryland at College Park.
