As part of its continued global expansion, GMAC Global Relocation Services (www.gmacglobalrelocation.com) has opened a new global service center in Shanghai, China. In addition to the new Shanghai operations, GMAC Global Relocation Services now has eight global service centers. Other service centers are located in London, Singapore, California, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, and Texas.

Pudong is located on the east bank of the Hangpu River which runs through urban Shanghai. In 1990, the Chinese government selected the Pudong area to become the centre of a new financial, economic and trade area. Gross domestic product for the area has grown an average of 20% for each of the past eight years.

The Shanghai office will be managed by Victor Loo, regional director, Asia Pacific Region.
