NEXX Systems, a leading provider of processing equipment for advanced wafer-level packaging applications, today announced that it has named Kenneth Ramsey as Vice President of Asia Operations. Mr. Ramsey will head the Singapore office, opening in September 2006.

Mr. Ramsey comes to NEXX with more than 20 years experience in positions dealing with the definition, development, and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for technical hardware products, software, and systems. Most recently, he was vice president of Southeast Asia sales and managing director of Amkor's Singapore sales office. He brings to NEXX a wealth of experience in the semiconductor industry and with NEXX's customer base, as well as more than 13 years living in Singapore.
