FSA Announces Program for 2006 FSA Suppliers Expo TAIWAN & Semiconductor Leaders Forum

Taipei, Taiwan

FSA, the voice of the global fabless business model, today announced the program for its third annual FSA Suppliers Expo TAIWAN & Semiconductor Leaders Forum, which will be held November 8 at the Taipei International Convention Center in Taipei.

The Semiconductor Leaders Forum, which runs in parallel with the exhibition, will feature three keynote presentations from global semiconductor industry leaders, including:

-- Dr. Nicky Lu, president and CEO, Etron Technology, Inc. "Perspectives on the Global IC Design Industry and New Business Models"

-- Keith Barnes, president and CEO, Verigy, Ltd. - "Synchronizing the Supply Chain for Brilliant Results"

-- Divakaran Mangalath, chief technology officer, Wipro Technologies - "Global Innovations - New Synergies in Product Design"

The agenda also includes a welcome address by Dr. Pu-tsung King, Deputy Mayor of Taipei City.

"FSA is pleased to host this unique event that offers a forum for semiconductor professionals from around the globe to cultivate and strengthen business partnerships."

Expo TAIWAN will feature 50 exhibiting companies and play host to 900 attendees from fabless, IDM, OEM, supplier and service provider companies. This year the exhibition will feature a Canada Pavilion, co-hosted by the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei (CTOT) with booths featuring Canadian supplier companies for the fabless industry.

Platinum sponsors for this year's event include TSMC and UMC. Semiconductor Industry Promotion Office (SIPO) is a collaborator for the event. Expo TAIWAN is co-organized by DigiTimes.
