Relativity Technologies, Inc., the global leader in Enterprise Application Modernization, has hired alliance veteran Jack Steeg, based in Austin, Texas, as vice president of its Global Partners division. Steeg was hired to further enhance the company's assisted indirect model of alliance support, which includes packaged application, tools, system integration and hardware partners -- companies that have integrated with and standardized on Relativity Technologies' Modernization Workbench(R) Platform.
"Our assisted indirect model is crucial to our business. With the increased demand for application modernization solutions and the momentum behind our technology as the platform of choice for our partners, it is imperative for us to maintain those positive relationships," said Steve Maysonave, chairman, president and CEO of Relativity Technologies. "Jack brings 35 years of IT and partner experience to that equation -- and I know he'll be a key asset to our future growth at Relativity Technologies."
Steeg is an acknowledged expert in building and managing global partner and alliance programs and has held leadership positions with three Fortune 100 companies and several start-ups. His experience spans sales, marketing, and development in the software, hardware, and services market segments. He served with NCR for 26 years, where he held multiple management positions. In 1996, he joined Dell, where he started their Partner Program in the Server Group. His most recent role was with Unisys as their vice president of the Dell Alliance.
"I'm excited about this opportunity to use my experience in building channel relationships," said Steeg. "Relativity Technologies places a high degree of importance on its global partners program, and I'm looking forward to taking the successful and established partner relationships to the next level."
Relativity Technologies' partner network includes six of the world's ten largest system integrators and six of the top ten India-based IT service providers.
