London, United Kingdom
Sucden (UK) Ltd, one of London's leading commodity and financial future brokers, announced the next stage of its continued expansion of operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
As part of the strategy, Jeremy Goldwyn, the firm's Global Head of Industrial Commodities, will be relocating to the region to coordinate the firm's business activities. His primary focus will be to further develop a diverse institutional client base in the Asia-Pacific region across all commodity markets. He will also be responsible for identifying new business development opportunities to build upon Sucden's strong reputation in the market.
Jeremy Goldwyn has over 20 years experience of the industry. Previously, he served in senior trading roles with Mocatta and was responsible for establishing the firm's first overseas base metals operation based in Sydney, Australia. Goldwyn also has broad experience of heading business development activities and has been instrumental in establishing international operations in areas as diverse as China, South Africa, India and South America. In April 2000, he established a global consultancy specialising in product and market development. Since 2004, Jeremy has been spearheading the development of Sucden's business in the area of base metals and general brokerage services.
Michael Overlander CEO of Sucden UK said, "Jeremy has been instrumental in building upon the foundations of our success in the region and we have now an established client base in the key Asian markets of China and India. Jeremy's relocation will assist in providing us with the senior presence we believe is a pre-requisite for not only consolidating our operations in Asia, but also in exploring business partnerships in the region."
