3GX and Mocogo Celebrate Highbury Stadium on Mobile

London, UK (PRWEB) May 8, 2006 -- Mobile content guardians 3GXdigital
and mobile delivery platform Mocogo have joined forces to launch a
celebration of the legendary Arsenal Football Club Stadium Highbury, as
it prepares to shut its doors to football after near on 100 years.

"It's a very emotional time for Gooner supporters around the world and
we wanted to do something whereby Arsenal supporters could keep a little
memory of the ground on their mobile phone," said 3GX Founder Director
Simon Weitzman. "We have a wonderfully talented client in Brian Casey,
who specialises in painting football grounds and we felt his portrait of
Highbury was a fitting tribute to a ground that has epitomized the
spirit of football and will live long in the hearts of Arsenal
supporters around the world."

The site at www.highburystadium.co.uk is the third active collaboration
between 3GX and UK based mobile platform Mocogo.

Arsenal fans can download Casey's splendid painting of Highbury and
enter a simple text competition to win the original, full sized and
framed painting from the artist himself next season. "What we like about
this site," explained 3GX Co-Founder Paul McDermott (a lifelong Gooner)
"is that it is a very simple proposition for the supporter. Mocogo has
proved to be a very stable and easy to use platform for us and we are
looking forward to launching more sites for the public along these
lines."

Alex Lewer, Director of Technology at Mocogo said "We are actively
committed to developing unique and innovate content services for the UK
market - the Highbury site is just one example of how we are working
with 3GXdigital to realise that goal".

The site is currently being promoted through Arsenal blog sites on
www.rivals.net and through word of mouth amongst supporters.
