Warren Buffett and Bill Gates Meet Their Match in Jamie Lee Curtis

Omaha, NE (PRWEB) May 6, 2006 -- When more than 20,000 Berkshire Hathaway shareholders gather here today for the company's annual meeting, they will be entertained with a short film featuring Jamie Lee Curtis. What they may not realize is that the actress proved a proved a worthy negotiator with Chairman and CEO Warren Buffett, the legendary corporate acquirer, in striking a deal for her performance.

For compensation, Curtis demanded and received a Monopoly™ board autographed by Buffett and Bill Gates, a Berkshire Hathaway director, which she has donated to a Los Angeles school for learning disabilities attended by her son. The school, Park Century, is auctioning the board over eBay to raise funds for a new building that will double its student capacity.

The actress is rightfully proud of her deal-making, having persuaded America's two richest individuals to comply with her request. She readily admits though that Buffett and Microsoft Chairman Gates, major financial contributors to education, caved in rather easily.
