The NABGG warmly welcomes you to the celebration of our 25 years of dedicated service and scholarship. This year's conference theme "A Vision of A Few, Fulfilled By Many" encapulates the history of the organization's creation and the continuing positive contributions that NABGG continues to make to the geosciences.
This historic meeting will convene September 27-30, 2006, at the beautiful Magnolia Hotel located in downtown Houston. NABGG members will come together to: 1) Interact with professional geoscientists in technical presentations on the latest trends in the earth sciences with special emphasis on: geology, geophysics, information technology, environmental sciences, astrophysics, and geography. 2) Award scholarships to deserving college students engaged in geoscience studies. 3) Research new career opportunities and 4) Conduct the business of the organization.
We are honored to have as the opening session speaker, NABGG's first president, Mr. Michael Carroll. In addition, NABGG is pleased to announce that our 2006 Awards Luncheon Speaker will be Mr. A. T.(Tim) Cejka, President, ExxonMobil Exploration Company.
Geoscience connects many scientific pursuits including: Oceanography, Natural Resources, Geography, Information Technology, Geology, Geophysics, Astrophysics, Anthropology, and many other earth and natural sciences.
