Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), a global leader in providing customer care, human resources, and billing services, announces the appointment of Paresh Shah as Vice President and General Manager of Convergys' Information Management operations in Hyderabad, effective immediately.
In this position, Shah will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Convergys' center in Hyderabad as well as the leadership of programs, products, and services delivered from the center. Shah will report to Doug Brueckner, Convergys senior vice president, Global Applications Services and Delivery, and will be located in Hyderabad.

Before joining Convergys, Shah served as vice president of Sales for Lucent Technologies. Previously, Shah served as the Product and Offer Management director for Intelligent Networks at AT&T Bell Laboratories/Lucent Technologies. He also held a number of other directorship roles with AT&T Bell Laboratories. Shah has previously worked in both the United States and India in addition to supervising and supporting operations in Europe and Asia.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science in India and a master's degree in Computer Science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in the United States.
