WellDog Adds Three Members to Board of Directors

Laramie, WY (PRWEB) May 3, 2006 -- WellDog, Inc., a Laramie, Wyoming-based energy technology company, announced that three members have been added to their Board of Directors: Will Wilcoxson, Axiom Venture Partners; Paul Kozel, Kozel Energy; and Richard Owen, Yellowstone Energy Ventures (observer).

The addition of the board members follows completion of $6.5 Million in new funding to facilitate expanded delivery of services and new product development.

WellDog's current line of services uses their patented downhole laser-based instrument to measure key reservoir properties in coalbed natural gas wells. This information is then transmitted via satellite to WellDog's data center for real-time analysis. WellDog operates primarily in the Powder River Basin in Wyoming, but is expanding into additional basins in the United States and Canada.

In addition to basin expansion, WellDog is pursing analysis of multi-zone completions and zone isolation. WellDog will also add the ability to test in horizontally drilled wells, and is continuing development of water prediction technology to mitigate water handling issues.

"We look forward to working with our new board members," said Wayne Greenberg, CEO of WellDog. "They bring a vast array of expertise to WellDog as we continue to pursue market expansion and new product development."
