Opsware Inc. (NASDAQ:OPSW), the leading provider of IT Automation software, today announced the appointment of Steve Su as general manager of Opsware's Pacific Rim Operations. Over the last several months, Opsware has strategically expanded its footprint across the Pacific Rim. A seasoned executive, Mr. Su will be instrumental in growing the company's presence across the region and capitalizing on the growing demand for Opsware's award-winning IT automation software.

Mr. Su has a proven track record and solid accomplishments in the technology industry, with more than 20 years experience. Prior to Opsware, he served at Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), a leading provider of product lifecycle management software solutions. As division vice president of North Rim Operations, he significantly expanded the company's presence and revenues across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. Before joining PTC, Mr. Su spent seven years at Dynatech Taiwan Corporation in various roles from engineering to sales and marketing.
His role at Opsware will include managing a number of strategic initiatives that will enable the company to increase penetration in the Asia Pacific market, thereby contributing to growing market share and brand awareness.
Mr. Su holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from National Cheng Kong University in Taiwan.
