Dig Up a Great Hotel Deal for the 2006 Chelsea Flower Show at LateRooms

(PRWEB) May 2, 2006 -- For one week of the year, the world's most renowned flower show brings together the best in gardening and horticulture. This year, the Chelsea Flower Show takes place between 23rd and 27th May. The show presents an opportunity to see work from the world's leading garden designers including Jinny Blom, Chris Beardshaw, Andy Sturgeon and Tom Stuart Smith.

Visitors can expect to see 20 show gardens, 27 small gardens in the Chic, City and Courtyard categories and over 100 floral exhibitors in the Great Pavilion, which offers some of the finest examples of horticultural excellence in the world. Visitors will also have the opportunity to create their own showcase garden with the shows sell-off of display plants starting at 4pm on the last day of the show.

This eagerly anticipated show is expected to attract well over 150,000 visitors per day and tickets for the event are selling out fast. This is also leading to an increase in demand for hotel accommodation in Chelsea and the surrounding areas as London hotels are booked up by green-fingered fans and budding 'Diarmuid Gavins'.

LateRooms http://www.laterooms.com the online hotel reservations web site, are advising that visitors make their accommodation arrangements well in advance to avoid disappointment.

"There are still some good hotel deals to be found in Chelsea but we expect these will disappear as people book their accommodation ready for the show" says Andrew Pumphrey, Head of Marketing at LateRooms.

LateRooms has more than 100 hotels within 2 miles of Chelsea. The site includes details about how far the hotels are from Chelsea. The 4 star rated ‘Hotel at Chelsea' is is only 0.5 miles from Chelsea and is still advertising highly competitive room rates from £109.

For visitors prepared to use London's extensive public transport system the 3 star Royal Sussex Hotel is advertising great rates from £66, while the 4 star Millennium Gloucester Hotel has rooms available from £85.
