will be on Friday May 19, 2006 at 4:00pm - 2:00am.
2214 1rst Ave LLC is the investing group that have gathered all the
leaders in the Restaurant & Entertainment fields to create a wonderful
and successful enviornment. Amber's VIP Opening Gala will be Produced by
Brina Sanft Management on Thursday, May 18th. She will intertwine it
with the kickoff of the 5th Annual Fisher Family Golf Invitational &
Auction which will benefit the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer
Research. A pair of tickets to the 2007 Kentucky Derby have been donated
to put up for auction that evening by Brina Sanft Management to raise
funds and awareness for cancer research. Amber will be involved in
philanthropic activities and events and giving back to our community.
We are proud to announce our Chef Matt Puch formerly with the Exclusive
Private Club , The Ruins also the Waterfront and the Painted Table and
many other wonderful establishments. Amber will specialize in Hand
Crafted Meats and Seafood's with Certified Angus Beef. Matt's 21 day
aged Primed Rib with a Ruby Port Augus will be a staple. Other dishes
will include Cedar Planked Roasted Alaskan King Salmon prepared with a
Caramelized Sherry Onion Sauce and the Halibut prepared with a Garlic
Basil butter Sauce. He also specializes in a tantalizing Double Cut Pork
Chop prepared with Granny Smith Apples, Shallots, Red Peppers in a Honey
& Brandy Sauce.
Some of the appetizers include Amber's Special Baby Back Ribs & Steamed
Manila Clams in a spicy Romesco Sauce. Our Wood Fired Oven will be
creating an eclectic mix of Pizza's and dynamic dishes. Matt's desserts
are so amazing that you will have to save room to enjoy.
Amber has the one and only Michael Don Rico as our Sommelier & Managing
Host. He was one of the main faces of El Gaucho's for 8 years and then
with the MacKay Group working in many capacities with all of there
restaurants. His signature role was the office cigar offcianado and then
to operational roles. Amber will carry a wide variety of the finest
wines from around the world and the Norhtwest.
The Bar will be spacious and inviting. Our Bar Manager John Hess will be
serving a wide variety of every drink ever imagined including a Banana's
Foster refreshing blended drink, the Ulitmate Chocolate Cherry Martini,
and Exotic Fresh Fruit Cocktails.
Also if that were not enough, Amber will be carrying the very unique and
distinct Lolita Hand Painted Martini Glasses which are a huge
conversation piece and a wonderful work of art.They will be selling for
$25.00 a glass and $5.00 of every glass sold will go to the Fisher Golf
Invitational to benefit the Marsha Rivkin Ovaian Cancer Reasearch
Center. They are themed and even have fabulous drinks recipies on the
bottom of the glass.
Amber is also awaiting a massive piece of blown glass by the one and
only James Mongrain, the master glass artist for Chihuly and his own
work.
