ATP Introduces Highest Capacity (2GB), Very Low Profile (VLP) DDR & DDR2 Memory Modules - The Ultimate Space-Saving Memory Solution for Server Blades and Embedded Applications

Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) May 1, 2006 -- ATP Electronics, Inc., the global leader in both DRAM modules and digital flash media products, announces its new VLP (Very Low Profile) DIMM product line for space-limited systems which require highest capacity memory for mission-critical applications. The VLP products utilize both DDR and DDR2 technologies with clock speed supporting up to 400 MHz, and memory capacity per DIMM of up to 2GB.

Both ATP DDR and DDR2 VLP products are incredibly low, measuring at only 0.72" (18.3mm) in height. The products support memory capacity from 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB. This is the highest capacity DIMM with the lowest height available in the market today. In addition, Registers and Error-Correction-Code (ECC) functions are supported.

"ATP's customers in the blade server, 1U and embedded markets are facing increasing pressure to design systems with space-limited form factors, yet still need maximum memory resources. ATP's highest capacity VLP DDR & DDR2 product families are the perfect memory solutions to address this requirement and allow board and system makers to optimize their space-critical designs without compromising on memory capacity," stated Danny Lin, VP of ATP. "Our customers are very pleased with ATP's efforts to design and manufacture such advanced DRAM modules to help them find a solution to meet the space saving challenge".

As with all other ATP products, the ATP VLP Registered DIMMs come with ATP lifetime warranty. These products are available immediately at ATP offices as well as its distribution channels worldwide. For more information, please visit http://www.atpinc.com.
