Ducon Technologies Inc. - Ducon announced that it has secured an order to supply a Flue Gas desulfurization (FGD) system, utilizing Magnesium Oxide (MgO) reagent for the Huaneng Xindian Power Co.'s 2x250 MW power plant in Shandong province of China.
Ducon's proprietary MgO FGD technology was selected to be the best among all bidders due to its high efficiency Ventri-Rod design, lower liquid to gas ratios, lower power consumption and high sulfur dioxide removal efficiency. Ducon's EEC unit will work with its local Chinese partner to provide a turnkey installation that will also include MgO processing & feeding system, the waste filtration and handling system.
