Nashville, TN (PRWEB) April 27, 2006 - Gas prices are up everywhere. It's Near $3 in most places and said to reach $5 by the end of the Summer.
On Friday, AAA Mid-Atlantic reported the average cost of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline as $2.88.
That was 3 cents higher than the day before and 15 cents higher than the previous week. A year ago, a gallon of the same gas cost $2.17.
On Tuesday, President George Bush directed the Environmental Protection Agency to suspend for this summer federal clean-burning gasoline rules that are forcing consumers to buy expensive new gasoline blends.
Bush temporarily halted shipments to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as a way to get more oil on the market and try to combat prices that have soared above $3 a gallon.
The number of people who will take no vacation this summer has tripled since 1999.

Summer vacation doesn't have to be a wash because of gas prices, you simply need to change the way you typically pay for vacations. Wholesale is the best option said NaPier.
