The Dark Lady Aims to Entertain and Intrigue

Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) April 12, 2006 -- The Dark Lady began her three-part mini-novel Underworld Unsaved when she was sixteen. Seeking to write a short story for the mere pleasure of it, she went to her mother and asked for a word. "Any word, Mom," she said. And her mother, much distracted by the worries and woes and little frustrations that make up everyday life, answered impatiently, "Pop can!" Thus, Underworld Unsaved was born.

>From that day forward, The Dark Lady spent the next few years of her life cultivating her talent and scribbling James Dustin William Vanderbush's bizarre adventures in her notebooks during school. All The Dark Lady thought about was writing. And after that, she thought of more writing. And after that, she yearned for publication.

One day, weary and depressed, The Dark Lady was surfing the web, never dreaming that the key to her dreams was only seconds away. She hit a search engine and low and behold! The website of her dreams unfurled before her eyes. Lulu.com -- Lulu, the fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books.

The Dark Lady could not believe her dark eyes! Print-on-demand? And for free? It couldn't be true! There had to be a catch. So she checked the site out and found, much to her amazement, that self-publishing with Lulu was absolutely free! All she had to do was share her profits with her publishers and boom! She would be published!

The Dark Lady could not decide which finished piece she would publish first, but came at last to the decision that she would publish her most beloved work of teenage fiction: Underworld Unsaved, a small collection of the supernatural adventures of a teenage outcast . . . who
was very much like herself in many ways.

Thus, The Dark Lady printed the essence of her soul in the hope that the world would accept and love it.
