Keep your eye on Saturn well before it disappears behind the Moon. The slow approach it makes towards the disk of the Moon, right in front of one’s vision, can be quite a heady experience! It will be much more thrilling to know the exact timings when it will reappear behind the dark side of the Moon. However, these timings could differ somewhat depending on your exact location within the city. Eastern regions and particularly the north eastern states are the most favorably located to view this occultation. Detailed information on this event for any location can be obtained by mailing to the Nehru planetarium
