DR. JOSHI EXPRESSES GRIEF OVER DEATH OF VETERAN JOURNALIST SHRI YOGESH MATHUR

New Delhi ~ July 23, 2001

The Minister for Human Resource Development and Science and Technology has expressed deep grief over the sudden and untimely death of veteran journalist Shri Yogesh Mathur of PTI Bhasha. In a condolence message he said I am shocked at the tragic demise of Shri Mathur whom I have known for many years. Shri Mathur has been covering national events with distinction for long and his death has created a void in Indian journalism which would be difficult to fill Dr. Joshi said. Dr. Joshi conveyed his heart-felt sympathies to the family members of the bereaved and also visited the hospital to offer his condolences.
