New Delhi ~ July 23, 2001

The Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has expressed profound grief over the sad and untimely demise of eminent journalist Shri Yogesh B. Mathur. Describing Shri Mathur as a vibrant media personality the Prime Minister said that his journalistic contribution was marked by his deep commitment towards social causes. His death is a great loss to the world of journalism more to the Hindi journalism the Prime Minister added.
