NITISH KUMAR VISITS DELHI METRO PROJECT SITES
New Delhi ~ June 20 2001
The Minister for Railways Shri Nitish Kumar today visited the construction sites of the Delhi Metro Project on the Shahdara - Tis Hazari Section.
Appreciating the pace and quality of work the Minister expressed the hope that the work will be completed as per schedule. He expressed happiness over the different kind of work culture adopted in the implementation of the project and said that the DMRC when completed will not only be a matter of pride for the people of Delhi but for the whole country as well.
Member (Engineering) Railway Board Shri R.N.Malhotra, General Manager Northern Railway - Shri S.Dhasarathy and Shri E.Sreedharan MD DMRC
accompanied the Minister on the visit and underlined the close cooperation between the Indian Railways and the DMRC at all stages of the project.
