PROF. ASHOK CHANDRA ELECTED DISTINGUISHED FELLOW
New Delhi ~ June 08 2001

Prof. Ashok Chandra - Special Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development has been elected distinguished fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). This is in recognition of his contributions in the field of electro-technology and technical education. Prof. Chandra was earlier awarded Eminent Engineer Award by the Institution of Engineers (India). He had also received Platinum Jubilee Gold Medal of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Prof. Chandra was earlier Director Institute of Applied Manpower Research New Delhi. He has taught at many Indian and foreign institutions and universities.
