Soon, computers, cameras to have massive amounts of storage capacity
Mumbai, May 22, 2007: Tripp Lite, one of the leading manufacturers of power protection equipment in the world, today announced the launch of the APS PowerVerter® DC-to-AC Inverter/Battery in India. These Alternative Power Supplies (APS) are practical solutions for all backup applications requiring 750 watts (1250 VA) to 3600 watts (6000 VA) of power.
"I am very pleased to introduce the PowerVerter APS Inverter/Charger series to our developing market in India. With five models to choose from, users can enjoy clean, safe, reliable AC output power for a wide range of stationary and mobile applications," says Mr Vipin Sharma, Tripp Lite's Vice-President of Sales, EEMEA and India.
Salient features of Tripp Lite APS PowerVerter® DC-to-AC Inverter/Battery:
PowerVerter APS Inverter/Chargers offer automatic line-to-battery transfer and an advanced 3-stage charging system to serve as an extended-run UPS system, a standalone power source or an automotive inverter. The Inverter/Chargers provide AC power to equipment while utility power is available and simultaneously charge an array of user-supplied batteries. When utility power is unavailable during power failures, on the road or at remote job sites, the Inverter/Chargers provide connected equipment with AC power inverted from battery reserves.
Instantaneous peak surge power (up to 200% of rated output) provides the extra power needed to cold-start heavy-duty equipment. High-efficiency, frequency-controlled power output supports sensitive loads such as computers and electronics. Multi-function indicator lights continuously display operating conditions and diagnostics, such as battery charge and load levels. Potential runtime is virtually limitless, depending on the number and size of user-supplied batteries. Tripp Lite has designed the PowerVerter APS Inverter/Charger line to be the safest and most reliable on the market. An optional remote control module allows users to store the Inverter/Charger and batteries in a remote location, such as a basement or storage area, while maintaining complete operational control.
Tripp Lite PowerVerter APS Inverter/Chargers are distributed through Rajdeep Energies Pvt. Ltd. in India.
