Mumbai, March 7, 2007: GlobalLogic Inc., a leading provider of global software product development services, today announced the opening of its Global Delivery Centre in Pune.
The new facility in Pune is an addition to GlobalLogic's global delivery centers in Noida, Nagpur, and Ukraine. This center will enhance GlobalLogic's service capabilities to address the increasing demand for global product development.
Speaking on the occasion, GlobalLogic President Mr. Sanjay Singh remarked that the center will be built up as a Global Center of Excellence focusing on areas like storage and logistics. This follows the model of the company's Global Centers of Excellence in Noida for technologies like Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Nagpur for mobile and wireless technologies.
The new center is equipped to deliver products leveraging GlobalLogic's proprietary Velocity (distributed agile product development method) platform. "The centre, which will be GlobalLogic's hub in Western India, reflects our endeavor to deliver value to our clients as well as our exponential growth," Mr. Singh said. "Pune clearly has a rich software product ecosystem including talent and infrastructure. We further plan to strengthen our presence by ramping up our team to 1000 professionals in 24 months," he added.
